Heritage Park Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to their first pumpkin patch this year. We told Celeste she could pick any pumpkin she wanted - and instead of choosing the biggest, she picked up a little one two seconds into our trip. When we tried to convince her that she needed a bigger one, she would let us know that it was too big and not for her. If only she'll feel that way about her first car!

Posing by the pumpkins. Only in Southern California can a child wear a dress and flip flops to a fall pumpkin patch...

Now a cute pose on the horsey!

We've been practicing wearing headbands or barrettes. Since she's had little to no hair for most of her life, hair accessories have been more of a play thing than a necessity. Even though she really doesn't need them yet, I'm trying to get her used to wearing them. One day I'll be able to put her hair in pigtails! This headband stayed on for about a hour. That's a long time for her!

Celeste and Daddy!

Mommy with Celeste. Check out that huge pumpkin!

And where was Baby Jack during all the festivities? Sleeping, of course!
